Join BarthHaas for an exciting and vital temporary role as a Hop Harvesting Assistant. This seasonal position offers a unique opportunity to be at the heart of the hop production process, working hands-on in the fields of Gütersloh, Germany. You will be an integral part of our team, contributing directly to the quality and success of our hop harvest. This role is physically demanding and requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Excellent English communication skills are essential for this international team.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Assist in the manual harvesting of hop cones from the bines.
• Operate and monitor harvesting machinery under supervision.
• Sort and clean harvested hops to ensure quality standards.
• Transport hops from the field to processing areas.
• Perform general field maintenance tasks as required.
• Follow all safety protocols and operational guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Fluency in English (verbal and understanding) is essential.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
