We are seeking a talented and passionate Hybrid Natural Language Processing Engineer to join our cutting-edge AI Research team in Morges, Vaud. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of advanced NLP technologies that will power the next generation of Logitech products and services. You will work on challenging problems at the intersection of human language, machine learning, and product design, contributing to research and rapid prototyping efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in NLP, machine learning, and a desire to see their research impact real-world consumer products. This is a hybrid role, requiring a balance of on-site collaboration and remote work.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Design, develop, and implement state-of-the-art NLP models and algorithms for various applications, including intent recognition, entity extraction, sentiment analysis, and natural language understanding.
• Conduct research into novel NLP techniques and machine learning approaches relevant to consumer electronics and user interaction.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, software engineers, and UX designers to integrate NLP solutions into Logitech products.
• Perform data collection, annotation, and preprocessing to build robust datasets for model training and evaluation.
• Optimize NLP models for performance, efficiency, and deployment on diverse hardware platforms.
• Stay current with the latest advancements in NLP, AI, and machine learning research, and actively contribute to the scientific community through publications or presentations where appropriate.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and contribute to the overall technical strategy of the AI team.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Strong proficiency in Python and relevant NLP/ML libraries (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face Transformers, spaCy, NLTK).
• Solid understanding of machine learning fundamentals and deep learning architectures (RNNs, LSTMs, Transformers).
• Proven experience with various NLP tasks such as text classification, sequence labeling, machine translation, and question answering.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for model training and deployment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Demonstrated ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Master's or PhD degree in Computer Science, Computational Linguistics, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical field.

• Experience with multilingual NLP and low-resource languages.
• Knowledge of speech recognition (ASR) or text-to-speech (TTS) technologies.
• Experience with MLOps practices and tools for model lifecycle management.
