Are you passionate about pets and looking for an exciting opportunity to kickstart your career in pet care management? Fressnapf Österreich is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic intern to join our dynamic team in Graz. This unique internship offers hands-on experience in various aspects of pet store operations, animal welfare, and customer service. Crucially, proficiency in German is NOT a requirement for this role, making it an ideal opportunity for international candidates or those focused on practical experience over language acquisition. You will learn the intricacies of managing a pet care retail environment, from inventory and visual merchandising to animal health and customer engagement, all while contributing to a company dedicated to pet well-being.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Assisting with daily store operations, including stock management and product display.
• Supporting customer inquiries regarding pet products, nutrition, and general care (in English).
• Participating in animal welfare initiatives and ensuring high standards of care for any in-store pets (if applicable, or demonstrating knowledge).
• Contributing to the creation of engaging content or promotional materials for pet care topics.
• Learning and applying best practices in pet retail management and merchandising.
• Collaborating with team members to maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Demonstrated passion for animals and their welfare.
• Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal).
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Prior volunteer or work experience with animals (e.g., shelters, pet sitting).
• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant program (e.g., animal science, veterinary assistant, business administration).
