Are you looking for an opportunity to work outdoors and contribute to the harvest of fresh produce? Landgard eG is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Pea Field Laborers to join our team for the upcoming pea harvesting season. This temporary position offers hands-on experience in agricultural work, vital for bringing fresh peas from the field to our customers. We welcome applicants who speak English, even if German is not your primary language. You will be an integral part of our harvesting crew, ensuring efficiency and quality in a dynamic farm environment.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Participate in the manual harvesting of peas, ensuring quality and efficiency
• Assist with planting, weeding, and other field maintenance tasks as required
• Operate basic farm equipment under supervision, if trained and necessary
• Sort and pack harvested peas according to quality standards
• Follow all safety protocols and company guidelines for field work
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in the field
• Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, sun, light rain)
• Ability to lift and carry moderate weights (up to 15 kg)
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Basic English communication skills to understand instructions and safety briefings
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Previous experience in agricultural work, field labor, or similar outdoor roles
• Knowledge of basic farm safety practices
• Valid driver's license (Class B) and access to personal transportation is a plus (for reaching remote field locations)
• Ability to operate simple farm machinery (e.g., small tractors, forklifts) is an advantage
